"Construction of hotels “Srbija”, “Šumadija” and “Turist” in the beginning of the seventies represented a great enterprise in the turistic economy of Belgrade. By opening these facilities, Belgrade gained a thousand beds in “B” category hotels, which, along with existing hotel capacities enabled the expansion of this economic branch, so that by the beginning of the decade, Belgrade had a full and complete turistic-business and congress offering, containing hotel capacities, sports and recreational facilities (gyms, halls, swimming pools) and full-supplied congress-center “Sava”
