The Memorial Museum of Ivo Andric

was founded right after the writer's death in 1976, as a memory of our remarkable author, The Nobel Prize winner in Literature 1961. Though a citizen of Belgrade since 1919, when he entered the diplomatic service, only when he married Milica Babic (1958), a National Theatre costumier, did Andric gain his true home, after many years of bachelor life. An escritoire and his personal library were his whole belongings up to then. The Museum covers the regular exhibition of the authentic interior of his home: a salon and a studio, a part of the Legacy of Ivo Andric including 6390 pieces. Other parts of his legacy comprise a remarkable writer’s personal library, manuscripts, correspondence, photos, fine art paintings, personal belongings, diplomas and medals.
Nikola Tesla Museum

Nikola Tesla Museum was founded in 1952. , and is open to the public since 1955. The Museum is a complete personal inheritance of Nikola Tesla. Archive contains the Museum of Nikola Tesla's personal belongings and a collection of photos. It contains about 1000 objects, divided into 9 classes - four collections of technical nature, and two collections of Tesla's personal things, and three art collections, as well as from the ashes cinerary scientists and inventor Nikola Tesla (1856-1943). The museum keeps all the personal legacy as well as the urn with the ashes of scientists and inventor Nikola Tesla (1856-1943).
The Belgrade City Museum

Funds and the collection contains over 130,000 objects, which are Systemised three professional departments (archaeological, historical and artistic). The museum and documentation center there and Conservation Department. Due to the lack of space there is no permanent museum setting, but the exhibition organized in the premises of regional museums and legacy, mostly in the Konak kneginje Ljubica.

Memorial Museum of Jovan Cvijic

is located in the house which our internationally-renown scientist-geographer has built in 1905, and where he has lived and worked. Dragutin Inkiostri Medenjak made wall decoration of the house interior of exceptional value, in the secession fashion. Museum display depicts the representative part of the Legacy of Jovan Cvijic encompassing manuscripts, correspondence, photos, books, applied art objects, fine art paintings, personal belongings, documents and furniture.
Legacy of Jovan Cvijic includes 1.463 items. The house is a cultural monument, under the protection of the state. Occasional lectures are organized in the Museum.
Memorial Museum of Paja Jovanovic

is located in a flat of an old multi-storey, in one of the main Belgrade streets. The famous writer has left many of his works to the Museum while he was alive, ranging from his first sketches, to representative portraits and historical compositions. His Vienna atelier furnished with pieces of antique is partially reconstructed in the Museum. Besides, there are his painting tools, personal documents, diplomas and medals, notes and writer’s memoirs, his partial correspondence, as well as photos of majority of his works. In Paja Jovanovic's Museum there is a Collection of Petar Popovic, a chemistry professor and a member of the surrealist cultural group in Belgrade. The collection comprises objects of applied art from the 18th and 19th century – engravings, books, albums and photos, and furniture.
Museum of Automobiles

The Museum accommodates a part of the collection (40 automobiles) of over 70, which make up the collection. The collection includes old-timers and rare automobiles, which are particularly important for studying of the development and technical progress of car industry with us and in the world. The oldest automobile is Marot-Gardon, France, dated 1897, a three-wheel vehicle, with a wooden body (ash), a two-seater. The collection also includes the French automobile Charrron dated 1908, with wooden wheel spokes and a luxurious wooden body type Landolet, which used to be handmade against orders; then Ford model T, dated 1925, the first automobile manufactured in a large series, on the assembly line. The collection also includes the automobiles from the fifties, sixties, and seventies of the 20th century, such as: Mercedes 300 C - convertible D, known as Adenauer, from 1956, one of only 51 cars that were manufactured; Jaguar MK2, from 1963, the first luxurious sports car, which could develop a speed of over 200 km/h; Cadillac de ville convertible, from 1957, with eight-cylinder engine and automatic transmission, which was an extravagant automobile in its time, with automatic roof lifting and window opening and with electric seat adjustment. The collection includes both original and restored automobiles prominent among them being: Ford from 1902, Lancia Lamda from 1925, Citroën B10 dated 1926, Buick 28-58 Opera coupe from 1928, Škoda R6 dated 1929, Aero 10 from 1929, Alvis from 1930, BMW 327/328 dated 1938, Rover 14
Museum of African Art

founded in 1977. The first and only museum in the region that is exclusively dedicated to culture and art of African continent. According to expert's opinions Belgrade Museum is a representative collection of African art. The museum collection consists of over 1700 cases of wood, clay, bronze, textile, and special collections of musical instruments from the countries of Western Africa. Terazije Theater

was founded on December 22, 1949, and the founder was the Assembly of the City of Belgrade. This Theater is the only music theater in our country and one of the most important cultural institutions. Vukobratovic, M. Karadžic and others.
